My music is released under Creative Commons Licenses. All of my songs except for "Onward (to Leipzig)" are released under the very liberal Creative Commons Attribution License. "Onward (to Leipzig)" is released under a (still quite liberal) Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial License.

You are free to do whatever you want with my music (put it in a video, podcast, video game, mixtape, etc.) as long as you attribute me. An ideal attribution looks like this:

"[Insert Name of Song Here]"
by Andy G. Cohen
Released under a Creative Commons Attribution License

In some cases, I understand that the full attribution is not practical (for example, in an overlay in a video when the song comes on). In those cases, an abbreviated attribution can be used.

Music: "[Insert Name of Song Here]" by Andy G. Cohen

For text descriptions (such as the description in a YouTube video), the full attribution is preferred.

For videos / movies, please place the attribution as an overlay in the video when the song comes on or in the credits. If you post the video online, also place the attribution in the text description accompanying the video. For podcasts, mention my name and the song name(s) and add the attribution to any accompanying text where the podcast is posted.

If you would like to let me know about a usage of my work, if you have a question about attribution, feel free to contact me.

If you would like to directly support me in making more music, you could choose to purchase some of my music for whatever price you'd like on bandcamp. Please note that this is not required, but you could choose to do so if you would like to.

If you have a special use where you do not want to (or cannot) reasonably give attribution for a derivative work, contact me and we can discuss a special license.
